Gia helps artists and arts organizations find grants. This page explains what we collect, why, and who can see it.
What we collect
Your email address, to sign you in. Your profile answers, the documents you upload, your projects and the outcomes you report. Your answers to the optional questions about the communities you belong to, if you give them. Which grants you open, save or follow to their official page, and when you sign in, so we can report on how the site is used.
If you paste a summary on the first step, or write one on your Profile page, we keep it as your profile summary. You can change or delete it at any time, the team can read it, and it is sent to the AI service with your profile when grants are ranked.
What we use it for
To rank grants for your profile and your projects, to let our team help you, and to report on the program in totals that never name a member.
Who can see it
You, and Gia's team. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
The AI service
To rank grants, your profile, your project and the PDF documents you uploaded are sent to Claude, an AI service run by Anthropic in the United States. Anthropic does not use what is sent through its service to train its models.
Where it is kept
Your information and your documents are stored in Canada, in Montréal. The website itself runs on Vercel, whose servers may be outside Canada, and sign-in emails are sent through Resend.
Cookies
Only the ones the site needs: one keeps you signed in, one remembers your language, and one counts a visit to the directory as a single session for 30 minutes. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can read and change your profile at any time. To get a copy of your information, or to have your account and everything linked to it deleted, write to info@appliedarchiveatelier.com.
